Blog Post Three

Hello friends, here comes an opportunity for us to be a blessing to a soul that so desperately needs it.

The Keep her in School campaign is here as part of our projects and programs that have purposed to run through different schools and communities especially rural areas of Uganda.

The girl children are at a very high risk of dropping out of school at an early age from something that starts so small as not being able to afford a sanitary pad due to the poverty at home and as result, they drop out due to fear of shame and devise means of being able to provide the sanitary pad for themselves. This in the end forces many to engage in activities like prostitution, drugs, crimes among others, which leads to some losing their lives and many becoming irresponsible mothers.

As Joy and Hope Foundation, we know that by reaching out to these girls and being able to at least support 300-500 girls with sanitary pads and other scholastic materials such as; books, pens, pencils, shoes, school uniforms and bags among other on every outreach, we can be able to keep the girl child in school to finish her education and become a responsible woman in the society

There is alot more to bee done towards this campaign as it also involves sensitazation of the girls, parents and even the boy children not being left out. Here therefore we invite and request you to join the cause by partnering, sponsoring and donating towards this campaign that is ongoing as one of our projects to make sure we help as many girls as we can to stay in school and finish their education.
